Cruise Line Disney Cruise Line is the first
and only cruise line built and operated by the dreammakers
of Disney. This unforgettable land and sea vacation
combines the magic of the Walt Disney World® Resort
and the romance of the Golden Age of cruising. Onboard,
guests of all ages will enjoy unforgettable dining experiences,
Disney-style entertainment, and areas and activities
created specifically for adults, families, and children.
With almost an entire deck
devoted to age-specific children's programs, your kids
will be practically begging to join the fun at Disney's
Oceaneer Club or Disney's Oceaneer Lab each day. And
an unusually high counselors-to-kids ratio means your
kids get tons of that famous Disney one-on-one attention
with their creative play. Which means peace of mind
for you -- and more of that famous Disney grown-up fun!
For example, while
most cruise lines offer you the same dining room for
the length of your cruise, aboard Disney Cruise Line
you’ll find a unique restaurant every night you’re at
sea. Among its many features, Disney Cruise Line will
offer more entertainment than any other ship afloat
including original Disney-created Broadway-style productions,
a nighttime entertainment district, and a full-screen
cinema offering a variety of films every day.
Disney Cruise Line
offers the most comprehensive and entertaining children
and teen’s programs afloat with 15,000 square feet of
space dedicated to them. Every cruise includes a visit
to the Port of Nassau and Castaway Cay, Disney’s private
1,000-acre Bahamian island offering miles of white sand
beaches and crystal blue water. While
on Castaway Cay indulge in water sports, casual dining,
and open-air massage cabanas. Romantic getaways and
special honeymoon packages are available.
Golden
rays of sunlight bathe sandy white beaches. Ocean winds
whisper through lush mountain jungles. Laughter and
romance sparkle on the sea. This is a vacation of tropical
adventure and ultimate relaxation complete with its
own special touch of Disney magic. While shipboard you
can choose to just soak up the sun or delve into the
fun. While

Throughout your cruise to paradise, the Disney Magic
shines with the kind of excitement it's famous for,
plus special, one-of-a-kind shows and entertainment
that will make your Caribbean vacation more enchanting
than you ever dreamed possible: Every day you can go
behind the scenes, discover the art of Disney entertaining
or learn the secrets of our ships in new hand-on fun-filled
programs that are only offered on this cruise.
Dress
up like the Little Mermaid? Play a part in a Bahamian
legend? Dig at Monstro's Point on Castaway Cay? On Castaway
Cay, Disney's private island, kids have their own beach
filled with supervised fun at Scuttles Cove. One night,
astounding illusions and mesmerizing music will dazzle
your senses in an all new stage show. Elegance and fine
dining await with two nights of black-tie optional dinners,
including the Captain's Gala and the delicious Master
Chef's Dinner. During the day, adults can enjoy a Champagne
Brunch at Palo, or high tea in the afternoon. Children
rule with special activities designed just for them
including a new late night horror show on the silver
screen. Everyone will be amazed by a ship-wide, night-long
tropical celebration.
There's something different every day and every night,
so you can do as much or as little as you like
while we sail away to a tropical wonderland.
Disney
Magic: This
ship resembles a classic liner, with its sleek design
and black hull trimmed in gold. The familiar mouse ears
on the red stacks mark this ship as distinctly Disney,
though. Passengers and their wait staff rotate among
three dining rooms for each night of the cruise. Disney
Magic's biggest attribute is its ability to please families
of all ages and backgrounds, no easy task. Disney's
onboard cinema, the Buena Vista Theater, is a big plus
and features late-release flicks. The 8,000 square foot
spa offers massage/beauty facilities and an exercise
area with glass wall with a view of the working bridge,
located a deck below. Three
main pools are found on Sports Deck, one for families
with a lengthy slide tube into the pool, one for sports
activities such as water volleyball, a third for adults
only. A full promenade deck is designated for jogging
and walking and additional activities include a batting
and driving range. Charming and vaguely art deco-ish,
with sleek fixtures, the standard outside cabin (with
or without balcony) is clearly designed with families
in mind. Beds convert from twins
to queen and are cloistered in the middle section by
a curtain that divides the bedroom area from the sitting
area, which is particularly useful at night, after the
kids are asleep.
In the sitting area, there's a sleep sofa, coffee table,
desk and color television. Verandahs, are plentiful
at 44 percent of outside staterooms. Festive Parrot
Cay boasts Caribbean flair, and Lumiere's offers an
elegant setting. In the Animator's Palate, your surroundings
start out in black and white, then gradually develop
into full color during the course of the meal.
Palo is the romantic alternative restaurant
for adults only. There's an extensive children's program,
with the ship boasting 15,000 square feet of dedicated
kids' space. Special areas and activities just for adults
range from wine tastings to pampering treatments at
the Vista Spa & Salon to a separate adult pool. After-hours
options along Beat Street (for grown-ups only) include
a rock 'n' roll dance club, improv comedy club and a
quiet piano lounge that's perfect for a nightcap.
Disney
Wonder: They look alike,
and they both sail alike too, but Disney Wonder has
a feel all it's own. The 83,000 ton ship made it's inaugural
debut in August 1999, and upon stepping aboard please
take note of the Wonder's Art Nouveau-style lobby, which
features sycamore wood, blue glass and polished nickel
railings.
Noted
artist and designer Dale Chiluly has created a gorgeous
Venetian art glass chandelier that graces the atrium.
The ship is stunning, featuring a customized artwork
designed exclusively for the Disney Wonder. Those of
you familiar with the resorts at Walt Disney World know
their obsession with iconography, and the Disney sister
ships haven't escaped unscathed. You'll find "hidden"
(and not so hidden) Mickeys on the soaps in the bathroom,
curtains, bedspreads, railings, artwork, etc. You get
the idea. Cabins
are among the largest in the industry, and 74% of them
are outside. You'll find them well laid out, and decorated
with hand-crafted wood trim, gray, red and blue fabrics.
Once again, you'll find Mickey ears everywhere. All
cabins accommodate three or four passengers and family
suites (291 sq. ft) hold five. These family suites feature
queen or twin beds, convertible sofa and pulldown beds.
Basic inside cabins are 173 square feet and cabins with
private verandahs are 253 square feet with convertible
sofa as well as queen/twin beds. One
bedroom suites (591 square feet) holding four or five
people and two bedroom suites sleeping five with two
and a half bathrooms, whirlpool tub, TV/VCR, walk-in
closets, wet bar are also available. Suite accommodations
have a private concierge service which assists in booking
shore excursions, spa appointments, dinner at Palo and
bring a full breakfast each morning. The
children's program is organized and run by dozens of
caring youth counselors, along with scheduled character
greetings (and many surprise visits too) throughout
the day. The inclusion of a brand-new nursery, Flounder's
Reef, fills a void for parents looking for childcare
for their infants through age three. Disney
Wonder offers a seven-night cruise/hotel package that
begin with a three- or four-night stay at Walt Disney
World, followed by a three- or four-day cruise. The
four-day cruise (departing every Tuesday) visits Disney's
private island, Castaway Cay, Nassau and a day at sea.
The three-day cruise (Saturday departures) calls in
Nassau and Castaway Cay. Land

DisneyPixar motion picture "Finding Nemo,"
or the mischievous animated alien Stitch make scheduled
appearances to chat, play and joke with kids in live,
unrehearsed conversations. A Modern Classic
Vessel Like her sister ships, the Disney Dream
continues the tradition of blending the elegant grace
of early 20th century transatlantic ocean liners with
contemporary design to create one of the most stylish
and spectacular cruise ships afloat.
Signature Design
The ship's exterior color scheme matches the
iconic Mickey Mouse with a black hull, bold red funnels
and vivid yellow striping and lifeboats. Silhouettes
of Disney Characters are scrolled into the signature
filigree ornamentation. Inside, the elegant décor is
influenced by the Art Deco style with a dash of Disney
whimsy. Atrium
Lobby The magical voyage begins upon entering
the expansive three-deck atrium lobby, highlighted by
a sweeping grand staircase, oversized portholes and
stunning, three-story fluted columns with glowing capitals.
Cast in bronze, Admiral Donald Duck graces the atrium
lobby.
