NCL
Norwegian Cruise Line You keep seeing Freestyle
Cruising and you don't know exactly what it is, right?
That's because we're the only cruise line that offers
anything like it. Let's start with the fact that there
are no fixed dining times. And you never have to eat
in the same restaurant twice.
Really. Norwegian
Cruise Line won't ask you to sit with strangers like
on other cruise lines. And, you only have to dress up
if you want to. We've created that kind of freedom throughout
the ship with a ton of fun things to do, or not do.
It's NCL's Freestyle Cruising. Where you're free to
whatever.
NCL Freestyle Cruising is the most
creative and unique experience in cruising. Our
goal is to provide you with freedom of choice. Whether
you're dining, enriching your mind or body, or just
plain relaxing, NCL has created a world of options for
you. Choose Italian or Asian cuisine, resort or formal
wear, dine early or late, with old friends or new -
we'll leave it up to you.
Join
NCL for Freestyle Cruising to hundreds of destinations,
and you'll discover that getting there is half the fun!
At Norwegian Cruise Line, we take thousands of passengers
on hundreds of cruises every year. Yet
NCL believes each experience is personal. Each guest
individual. Each voyage unique. Our ships are mid-sized,
not mega. Big on choices, not on lines. And
big on space, too – with larger-than-average staterooms
and acres of sun-washed decks. You’ll find more places
to discover. More room to roam. More places to lose
yourself. On board you’ll be treated to dining choices
that match your mood. So prepare yourself for sumptuous
meals in grand restaurants. Candlelight dinners in cozy
bistros. Or if you’d prefer, a sinfully caloric Chocoholic
Buffet. Of course you can also enjoy 24 hour room service
at no charge – all compliments of NCL’s legendary pampering.
NCL ships are
destinations in themselves. Gracious promenades, lavish
spas and fully equipped fitness centers adorn our ships.
Poolside attendants stand ready to offer a cool spritz
of water. A soothing massage or soak in the hot tub
helps eliminate stress. You can even take part in a
basketball game, practice your golf stroke, go for a
jog, or mingle with friends in the Sports Bar where
you can catch live games on ESPN International.
When the sun goes down get ready to party.
Because there’s plenty of exciting entertainment for
everyone. Live music, dancing under the stars, Broadway
Plays and dazzling casinos filled with glitz, glitter
with the friendliest dealers at sea. Discover everything
cruising was meant to be.
The
addition of NCL's Freestyle Cruising has revolutionized
the vacation experience. Norwegian Cruise Line's fleet
of modern ships have been designed to provide guests
with the utmost in comfort, safety and personal enjoyment.
All are new or recently refurbished and incorporate
such unique and trendsetting features as an Internet
cafe for those wishing to go online at sea. NCL's
Freestyle Cruising ships will make you see the world
from an entirely different vantage point.
Each
of our ships features a wide array of world-class amenities,
activities, and entertainment. There are rooftop Garden
Villas, connecting staterooms, private balconies, diverse
and exciting restaurants, Broadway style theaters, 24-hour
fitness centers, world-class spas, Internet Cafés and
most offer dazzling casinos with the newest slots and
table games afloat. And who said cruises aren't for
kids? It's our middle name. NCL and NCL America offer
what you want, what your kids want…good times all around,
for all ages, at all times, just the way you like it.
Plus, complimentary activities happen every day—whether
your child wants to paint, have a pajama party or put
on a show. And just think of the new friends they'll
make—you might even have to schedule time just to see
them.

announced that it will place three of its newest Jewel-class
ships in Europe beginning in March 2008 in response
to increased consumer demand for European cruises. The
company will re-flag Pride of Hawai`i into the Bahamas

will make the first stop in Grand Bahama, along with
a stop in Nassau, during a three-day Bahamas Getaway
cruise on November 15, 2007, sailing roundtrip from

long standing commitment to its relationship with The
Bahamas which began some forty years ago. NCL was the
first of the major cruise lines to call at The Bahamas
and was the first in the industry to own and include
a private island experience in our itineraries, at Great
Stirrup Cay in the Berry Islands," said Andy Stuart,
NCL's executive vice president of marketing, sales and
passenger services. "We also have a long history
of pioneering the development of new cruise destinations

America Debuts New Luau on Kauai.
Honolulu - NCL America (NCLA), in partnership with Kilohana
Plantation and NH Productions, hosted a grand opening
of its brand new luau and dinner show for the
community on Friday, April 27. Luau Kalamaku promises
to be one of Hawaiis most exciting and entertaining
experiences offered nowhere else in the islands. The
experience will offer traditional Hawaiian games, arts
and craft lessons, a hula show and a theatrical production.
Guests will also have the opportunity to sample popular
island favorites lomi lomi salmon, poi, taro bread and
kalua pig catered by Gaylords Restaurant.
A
train ride on Kauai Plantation Railway or a vintage
Clydesdale carriage ride through the plantations
35-acre estate will also be available as additional
featured activities. Hawaii is a very special
place and passengers cruising NCL America ships are
here to experience Hawaiian culture and learn about
Hawaiis heritage, said Robert Kritzman
NCL America Executive Vice President and Managing Director
of Hawaii Operations. Luau Kalamaku
tells a tale about Hawaiian culture and values through
a one-of-a-kind theatrical performance which weaves
in ancient and modern dances from the Tahitian, Hawaiian
and American traditions. Luau Kalamaku
is a heartwarming story created by well-known director,
producer and performer Haunani Asing Marston and Nanea
Tuttle of NH Productions. Marston, a former Miss Hawaii,
recently returned to Kauai after working for four
years in Washington D.C. with the Congress on Homeland
Security issues. Marston produced, directed and starred
in the Princeville Hotel Luau, Nani Hanalei
o ke kai, for five years and prior to that produced,
directed and starred in Tahiti Nui Family Style Luau,
Aloha Kauai, for 14 years. Her credits
also include stage productions of South Pacific
at Kilohana Plantation, Monarchy Nights,
Some Enchanted Evenings, and After
Eight from Big Band Productions/Lionman Records.
The original storyline, which will feature an all
Kauai cast, tells the tale of one familys
journey from Tahiti to Kauai. Original music for
the production was created by Marston, Halani Boshard
and Michael Ruff and choreographed in a collaborative
effort by some of Kauais top talent, including
Kathleen and Alani Woodward, former Merrie Monarch Miss
Aloha Hula and Kumu Hula Healani Youn, Kumu Hula Doric
Yarvis, Pualani Avaeoru, and Stephania Zenato.
"This production celebrates the inner fire and
determination of ancient people who endured the separation
of time and the great unknown during early migration,
said Marston. The flamed torch passed from generation
to generation, illuminating the path for others to follow,
true warriors of light. Our people have also been expert
cultivators, seeking and cherishing the seeds of wisdom
and spiritual guidance from Ke Akua, voices of ancestors
and aumakua call. In response, we answer...Mahalo
e Io, which means thank you to our god whose name
is Io. NCLA renovated and upgraded
the existing carriage house at Kilohana Plantation which
now includes a new pavilion structure that spans the
back lawn and will have the capacity to accommodate
1,000 guests. The structure ensures the show will go
on even during inclement weather. The shows for passengers
will run Monday, Thursday and Saturday evenings when
NCLA ships overnight in Kauai. Incentive groups,
other visitors and residents of Kauai will have
the opportunity to book the show on alternative nights
at a later date. NCLA began running the show for its
cruise guests on April 5, 2007.
