There is something magical about discovering the world from your very own private veranda. Feeling the ocean breeze caress your skin. Listening to the surf gently roll by. An unprecedented 82% of suite accomodations feature a wall of glass that opens onto a private teak veranda. Silversea Cruise's spacious, light-filled Veranda and Vista Suites comfortably accommodate guests in an elegant atmosphere of muted tones and rich, honey-spiced maple cabinetry. There's a separate sitting area that includes two chairs and table for in-suite dining, plus a sofa.

Silversea's ships are like intimate and exclusive resorts. Veranda Suites aboard Silver Shadow and Silver Whisper measure 345 square feet and the largest accommodations range up to 1,435 square feet. Silversea suites are considerably larger than those of earlier ships in the ultra-luxury market and are between two and three times the size of standard cruise ship cabins. When you retreat to your suite, you'll revel in the space, privacy and fine appointments. Over 80% of Silversea's suite accommodations feature floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto a private teak veranda, while other suites graciously frame the sea with a five-foot panoramic picture window.

Silversea's standard pillow is a soft goose down and feather blend. However, guests may opt for a firmer goose down and feather pillow, or a synthetic one that's hypoallergenic, or even a contour pillow of therapeutic foam.
